Woman's Bible Study

Monday evening June 2nd, at 6:30pm in the Fireside Room, Cindy and Mary Kay will lead the next women's Bible study.

This 6 week study is based on the book Authenticity: Living a Spiritually Healthy Life.

Books are in the church library on the “bookstore” shelf. The cost of each book is $7.00. Please make your check payable to The Village Church.

PW Fashion Show and Lasagna Dinner June 6

Clothes modeled are from the Presbyterian Thrift Shop and will be available for purchase. Anyone interested in modeling should contact Sherry Gray, Linda Florentine or Patti Boxeth. Ticket prices are $35 per family, $12.00 adult and $5.00 for children under 12.

PW Board members will be selling tickets beginning May 1st. The event is loaded with fun and sells out quickly.

All proceeds will benefit the youth programs at the Village Church.

Friday Hikes Are Back Beginning June 6

Enjoy God’s creation by hiking in the Lake Tahoe area with members of your Village Church family.

We meet in the church parking lot at 9:00 a.m.. The group will decide exactly where they’d like to hike at that time. Most hikes will be around two to three hours in duration and will be moderate in overall exertion; the ability to hike (not just walk) four miles in two hours.

Church Work Day June 14

We will meet in our Fireside Room at 9:00 a.m. to complete a number of large and small projects around the church.

Some projects will require the ability to drive a screw into a hole, some raking pine needles and others to install the parachutes for outdoor worship.

There will be projects for folks of all ages! We will join in a bar-b-que lunch at Noon. Please plan on joining us for this important day as we prepare for outdoor summer worship.

Summer Worship Schedule

Our outdoor 10:00 a.m. worship services in the Chapel in the Pines will begin on June 29th and continue through Labor Day weekend.

We will continue to provide our 8:00 a.m. worship service in the sanctuary. Mark your calendars and plan on joining us in worship this summer.
